nordic skiing

Carly and I went Nordic skiing this weekend, aka cross-country skiing. It was a lot harder than we had assumed, and the icy tracks made it no less perilous. These pictures highlight the brief moments we were able to look graceful, as Carly does above. She also wants all to know that she realizes "her outfit is dumb" (her words). She ordered it off of eBay for a pretty penny, and yes, it's from the '80's.

I was completely stationary in this shot.

This is the world I'm living in right now in Hyde Park of Chicago at the U of C. I'm loving the snow, btw.

surrealistic cartoon

Muzorama from Muzorama Team on Vimeo.

This will make you smile, and laugh. I think it's a pretty good adult equivalent to childrens cartoons. It is so simple, absurd, yet entertaining. And we can appreciate it for the hours of work that went into it and for being something that makes our day (at least my own) a little more interesting and enjoyable.
